Kaif is better known as a Barbie Doll in the B-town. Katrina is a model turned actress who has come all the way from London. She has a mixed origin with a Kashmiri Indian dad and British mother. She has 7 siblings and spent 3 years of her life in London before coming to India, but who has since acquired British citizenship.
At the age of 14 she was approached for a jewelry campaign. Thereafter she continued modeling in London. She got her first break in Bollywoood in the film Boom (2003).
Unlike other artistes from foreign lands, Katrina did not experience any difficulties in getting a visa nor of getting it extended in India.
She has a problem with the Hindi diction but with each film she improved her language. She has got the gorgeous looks, she is not easily intimidated, but at the same time she admits that she is very emotional, sensitive, and concerned about her privacy. She prefers to wear comfortable non-revealing clothes when at home, hates to do her hair, and above all dislikes make-up.
Katrina Kaif is a personified version of a doll. Katrina Kaif was the inspiration for the most awaited doll of 'Barbie I Can Be a Movie Star' which was unveiled by her in May 2011.
